Her Hack Hour

HER HACK HOUR kicked off with its first event in September, where participants from both junior and senior batches showcased their coding skills in a series of challenging problems. The competition was fierce. The monthly series continues to grow, providing a dynamic platform for female coders to enhance their skills and compete at higher levels.




Techno Blitz

We are excited to reflect on the tremendous success of "Techno Blitz," a spirited tech quiz competition organized by the ACM-W Student Chapter at PCCOE. Held on September 6th, this event featured two dynamic rounds: an offline quiz and a 'Fastest Finger First' challenge, testing the quick-thinking and tech prowess of participating teams. A big thank you to all the teams who brought their enthusiasm and competitive spirit, making it a memorable tech showdown. Congratulations to the winners who took home exciting cash prizes!

The Team CESA Induction Program 2024 welcomed second-year students, introducing them to the teamโ€™s mission and goals. The event set the tone for a year of collaboration, innovation, and growth, leaving participants excited to contribute and engage.




ESP Session

We are thrilled to reflect on the success of our recent Eminent Speaker Program session titled "Navigating the Tech Landscape" with Dr. Navin Kabra. Hosted by PCCOE's ACM and ACM-W chapters, this session offered a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge technologies in AI, cryptography, and blockchain. Special thanks to Dr. Kabra for his expert insights and to our faculty coordinators for their steadfast support. We appreciate all participants for their engagement and look forward to continuing our journey of learning in upcoming sessions.

FUN MANIA

The event Fun Mania being part of the Anantya 2K24 , is a captivating mix of interactive challenge booths scattered across the campus. These challenges feature a diverse array of bingo, trivia, puzzles, and many more engaging activities. The primary aim is to foster a relaxed environment for participants, encouraging them to unwind while enjoying other competitive events. The booths will act as relaxation stations offering an assortment of fun and intellectually stimulating tasks, the event ensures an enjoyable experience for all attendees, promoting camaraderie and a sense of shared enjoyment.

POSTER PRESENTATION

Anantya 2024, PCCOE's flagship event includes Poster Competition as an interesting event which is hosted ACM-W Student Chapter, PCCOE. The Event, explores the realm of innovation and exploration as students showcase their research, creativity, and communication skills through visually striking posters across a spectrum of topics spanning technology, science, engineering, and more at our Poster Presentation event.

MIND MATRIX

Anantya 2024, PCCOE's flagship event, features Mind Matrix as one of its highlights which is hosted by PCCOE ACM-W student chapter. It's a unique technical event designed for fun, featuring engaging games. The event consists of three rounds: the first round is a crossword puzzle, the second round is an algorithm challenge through a quiz, and the third round is a real-life snake and ladder challenge.

WEBSITE LAUNCH

On March 18th,2024 the grand launch of the PCCOE ACM-W student chapter official website was planned. The website discovered a platform designed to connect, inspire, and empower women in computing. It will help to Explore resources, events, and opportunities aimed at fostering growth and diversity in the tech community!




BUDDY SESSION ON AI/ML

Had an enlightening session on "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" by Kartik Chaudhari at PCCOE, Classroom 6203, on February 28th, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Explore the fundamentals of AI and ML, their applications, and real-world implementations through captivating demonstrations of Kartik's projects. Engage in interactive discussions about career pathways, job market insights, and internship opportunities in the AI industry. QUIZ COMPETITION FOR NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

ACM-W PCCOE and Institute Innovation Council (IIC) collaborated to host a dynamic Quiz Competition at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune, in honor of National Science Day. The event comprised two rounds: an Online Quiz Round followed by an Offline Quiz Fire Round. Participants demonstrated their knowledge and enthusiasm for Science and Technology. The top performers from each round competed in a live session, with the top three teams emerging as winners. This event celebrated the essence of inquiry and innovation, fostering scientific curiosity, teamwork, and camaraderie among the students of PCCOE, Pune.




INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO ATREYA INNOVATIONS PVT LTD

Team AMCW PCCOE Pune embarked on a privileged tour of Atreya Innovations, an avant-garde healthcare technology firm committed to reshaping the landscape of holistic wellness. During the immersive visit, the seamless integration of ancient and modern healthcare methodologies, all powered by cutting-edge data-driven AI predictive algorithms, was witnessed firsthand by our team. Atreya's unwavering goal to enhance individualized diagnoses and recommendations for optimal wellness was palpable, reflecting their commitment to holistic health.

DEEP LEARNING WORKSHOP

Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering's ACM-W team set the stage on fire with an electrifying Expert Session on Deep Learning! Held on October 28, 2023, this tech fiesta featured the brilliant Ms. Kriti Sinha, a Data Scientist at Toll Technology, Pune, who unleashed a whirlwind of real-time project insights. Aimed at SY and TY B Tech computer students, the session was a turbo-charged journey into the dynamic world of Deep Learning. WEB WIZARDS ARENA

Web Wizard Arena (WWA) was an exciting web development competition for students, featuring two intense groups: Group A for first and second-year students, and Group B for third and fourth-year experts. With 27 teams and a max of three members per team, the arena was ablaze! In a thrilling 3-hour showdown, teams tackled spontaneous problem statements, showcasing their web development skills. The top 4 teams from each group impressed judges Prof Shailesh Galande and Prof Madhura Kalabhor with their design, functionality, innovation, and execution. ENGINEER'S DAY

'CYBER SLEUTHโ€™ was the highlight event, focusing on cybersecurity challenges which brought together Engineering enthusiasts to showcase their problem solving skills. Participants formed teams and tackled intricate technical challenges which boosted up their knowledge, creativity and teamwork.This stage incorporated cyber security-related clues, serving as hints, with the primary objective of deducing the puzzle's solution.

SY Recruitment

The 'ACM-W SY Recruitment' for second-year students was a highly anticipated opportunity, signifying a crucial phase in the journey of joining esteemed organizations.From a pool of over 125 applicants, a meticulous shortlisting process ensued based on the responses received. After a thorough and comprehensive evaluation process, 23 students were successfully selected for various roles within the ACM-W team.
